Baked Apples

Ingredients

4 eating apples

50g butter

2 handfuls f dried fruit

50g brown sugar

1 tspn cinnamon

Directions

1Heat oven to 200C

2Score round the apples with a sharp knife

3Core the apples

4Stand apples in a baking dish or use a muffin tray

5Mix the sugar and cinnamon

6Put a knob of butter into the bottom of the apple , then add fruit , then sugar and cinnamon. Push down and add another layer f fruit , then butter finishing with the sugar mix

7Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked

8Serve with custard , cream or ice cream
