Lasagne

This makes 2 lasagnes for 4 people

Yields8 Servings
 400g lean minced beef
 200g porridge oats
 2 small or 1 large onion diced
 2 crushed garlic bulbs
 500ml of tomato pasta sauce (recipe posted under base sauce)
 1 pint beef stock
 Lasagne sheets
 1 pint white sauce (recipe posted in sauces)
 200g grated cheese

Fry your mince and onions until the mince is browned and not lumpy add the garlic and fry for 2 more minutes

Stir in the porridge oats mixing well

Add the tomato sauce and stock and bring to the boil. Simmer gently stirring occasionally for 20 minutes. If the mix is too dry add some more water

Put 1/4 of the mince in a casserole dish and cover with lasagne sheets

Put 1/4 of your white sauce on top of the lasagne sheets and spread out

Add another 1/4 of the mince then lasagne sheets and then wop with white sauce and half of the cheese

Repeat for 2nd dish

Cook in the oven at GM 6 200c for 25-30 minutes

Serve with a green salad and some yummy garlic toast
