Philly Cheesesteak Rolls

Yields1 Serving

 1 small ciabatta loaf or a couple of rolls
 1/2lb wafer thin roast beef or you could cook and thinly slice an 8oz steak
 1 thinly sliced onion
 1 sliced pepper
 2 -3 tspns minced garlic
 1 tblspn Olive oil
 Salt and pepper
 A few slices of thinly sliced cheddar
 A few slices of thinly sliced mozerella
 A little fresh made tomato sauce ( optional )

Heat a large frying pan on a medium heat

Add the oil

Now add the onions and sauté

After 4 minutes add in the peppers and continue to cook until they start to caramelise

Add in the garlic and seasoning , cook for another minute

Push the mix to one side of the pan and add in the meat, keep turning the meat over until warmed through

Mix the meat with the onions and peppers

Separate into 2 portions and top with the cheese

Cut the rolls , removing a little of the insides ( save for breadcrumbs )

Spread the top of the roll with tomato sauce if using

When the cheese has melted top with the other half of the roll

Carefully remove with a fish slice and put the rolls together
