A Christmas pudding everyone will enjoy

  • Prep: 40 mins
  • Yields: Depends on how big you make them

Ingredients

50g butter

180g marshmallows

100g Rice Crispys

200g milk chocolate

100g white chocolate

Holly leaf decorations ( you can make these from fondant icing or buy ready made )

Directions

1Melt the butter and chocolate together in a pan.

2Add in the marshmallows and stir until they have melted.

3Add in your Rice Crispys .

4Remove from the heat and stir well.

5Once they have cooled a little, spoon a tablespoon of mixture out into your hands and roll into a ball.

6Put these on a lined baking tray and then put in the fridge for 15 minutes.

7Melt your white chocolate

8Drizzle a little white chocolate on top of each Christmas pud and top with a holly leaf icing decoration.

9Put back in the fridge to firm up for a further 15 minutes.

That’s fair enough I suppose, our lot don’t get off until this Friday which means plenty of time for shopping without them!

Brilliant Penny !! Our Spanish neighbours love my normal chocolate rice crispy cakes. I will do some of these for their New Years Eve party, along with their other faves, mince pies and sausage rolls. I can buy fondant icing in our local Spanish supermarket & then colour it !! Thank you for a different idea
