Roast Potatoes

Ingredients

Directions

1Peel/chop potatoes

2Cover with boiling water from the kettle and put on the hob.

3At this point put some oil/fat in a roasting tin and bung it in a hot oven, say 200-220*c

4Bring potatoes back to boil. Boil for 7 minutes. Drain

5Now, carefully remove your now very hot roasting tin from the oven. Add potatoes. Be careful it may spit/sizzle

6Use a brush to cover the potatoes or give it a gentle shake.

7*I then shake over a generous shake of dried rosemary and garlic granules - you could add flavour of your choice, or none at all* In the oven for 60-90mins

8Give them a jiggle about half way through cooking (at that point get your veggies on smile emoticon ) Perfect every time.

9**TIP** I move mine down the oven for the last 20mins when I pop my Yorkshire's in at the top.
