Once you've made the seasoning you can use it on anything

 1 tblspn salt
 1 tspn sugar
 1 tspn white pepper
 0.5 tspn Chinese five-spice powder
 0.5-1tspn MSG - totally optional
 1 red chilli chopped
 1 onion sliced
 A little oil
 Chips that are cooked

Mix all the seasoning ingredients and store in an airtight tub

Put a little oil in a wok

Add the onions and chilli and chips

4

As they are cooking sprinkle on some of the seasoning and keep tossing the pan

    1. We had these from a chinese chip shop in North Wales on a trip during the summer. Thumbs up from everyone! Good for last minute too. Everything was in the cupboard because I substituted the fresh chilli for some dried chilli flakes
