Teriyaki chicken or turkey mince kebabs

1lb chicken or turkey mince

1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs

3-4 tblspn a teriyaki sauce

1/2 finely diced red onion

1-2 minced garlic cloves

1 egg beaten

Salt and pepper to season

Red , yellow or green peppers cut in large cubes


1Mix everything except the pepper chunks in a large bowl . Add more teriyaki sauce if too dry or breadcrumbs if too wet

2Roll into meatball sizes

3Chill in fridge to firm up for 20 minutes

4Thread the meatballs onto a skewer with a piece of pepper between each meatball . 3 balls per skewer

5Spray with oil and grill for about 5-10 minutes

6Or spray with oil and bake at 180c for 10 minutes or until cooked

7Serve sprinkled with sliced spring onions and sesame seeds
