Baked Apples

 4 eating apples
 50g butter
 2 handfuls f dried fruit
 50g brown sugar
 1 tspn cinnamon

Heat oven to 200C

Score round the apples with a sharp knife

Core the apples

Stand apples in a baking dish or use a muffin tray

Mix the sugar and cinnamon

Put a knob of butter into the bottom of the apple , then add fruit , then sugar and cinnamon. Push down and add another layer f fruit , then butter finishing with the sugar mix

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked

Serve with custard , cream or ice cream
