Banana scones

 200 g SR flour
 50 g Butter(cold)
 1 Banana chopped
 100 ml Milk
 ½ tsp Cinnamon (optional)

Prep:-
Pre heat oven to 220°

Put 175g of flour and the cold butter in a bowl and rub to form bread crumbs

Mix the remaining 25g of flour with the banana - (this helps them not to fall and sink)

Add the cinnamon at this stage. 1/4-1/2tsp or to taste )

Add the milk a little at a time, and gently bring it to a nice dough ball. You may need more milk you may not it depends on the banana.

I then flattened the dough out to about 1cm thick and into a round disc. I did not use a rolling pin I just pressed gently. Then cut like a pizza into triangles.

Coat with some egg/milk wash and cook for 15mins.

Serve warm with butter and jam or peanut butter/jam
