Beef Tacos

A family favourite

 500 g Beef mince
 80 g Rolled oats or red lentils
 1 Onion chopped
 3 Garlic cloves chopped
 400 g Tin chopped tomatoes
 2 tbsp Taco mix-recipe on the website
 4 tbsp Salsa-recipe on the website
 8 Taco shells
 4 tbsp Sour cream
 100 g Grated cheese
 200 ml Beef stock

Fry the beef,onion and garlic till beef is browned then drain off the fat

Add the tin of tomatoes,oats,taco mix, stock and stir

Put lid on pot,bring to the boil and simmer for 45 mns or until sauce has reduced

Place the taco shells in the oven and heat at 180°for 2 mins

Remove from oven and fill with beef, lettuce,topping off with salsa,sour cream,and grated cheese

Serve with side salad and potato wedges

Tip- put everything in bowls on the table and let the kids assemble their own tacos so they can add their favourite toppings

Tip- if sauce hasn't thickened increase heat and it should reduce and thicken in a few minutes
