Carrot and swede mash

Yields1 Serving

 1 swede cut into small cubes
 About 5 carrots , chopped twice the size of the swede
 A little butter
 Salt and pepper

Boil the carrots and swede until a knife can be easily inserted into the pieces

Drain thoroughly

Mash or put through a potato ricer

Add butter and seasoning

Serve

Can be frozen. I cooked mine in the pressure cooker for about 10 minutes

For a really smooth mash use a hand blender or push through a sieve
