Chocolate Blondies or Brownies

 150g softened butter
 175g warmed golden syrup
 2 tblspns water
 2 eggs
 200g self raising flour
 100g sugar ( brown is best for a brownie )
 200g of melted chocolate ( white or dark )
 Chic chips or chopped nuts are optional

Heat oven to 180C

Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well

Pour into a greased 9" square tin

Bake for 30-40 mins

Cool in tin

Serve warm with ice cream or eat as is
