Another great gift but you could make , store in bags and grab a bag to make cookies as you fancy
Combine the flour, bicarbonate of soda, caster sugar .
Put half of the mixture in a clean 1 litre glass jar and pack firmly.
Put the brown sugar on top
Now add the remaining mixture .
Top with chocolate chips .
Put on the lid and decorate jar with a bow if it's for a gift
Alternatively place all ingredients in a sealable bag
If gifting make a tag saying :
Empty contents of jar into a large bowl.
In separate bowl combine 170g butter, 1.5 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Cream together
Add to dry mixture.
Drop tablespoons of the batter onto ungreased baking trays. Bake in a 190c oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
Let cool for a couple of minutes to n a tray
Finish cooling on a rack
