Fancy some crisps but none in the house ? If you have a potato and a microwave fear not you can have the crisps

Peel your potatoes

Slice very thinly ( a mandolin would be great to do this but just slice as thinly as you can )

Soak the slices in cold water for 5 minutes or run under cold water until water runs clear

Drain and dry really well

Lay 2 sheets of kitchen towel on a plate

Place slices of the potato on to the kitchen towel do not overlap them

Put in a microwave and cook in 2 minute bursts until crisp and golden

Season with your favourite seasoning . I used paprika
