Preserved lemons for drinks

 3 unwaxed lemons
 1 cup granulated sugar
 2 cups of water

Sterilise a couple of small jars

Slice the lemons

Put the sugar and water into a saucepan and heat until the sugar is disolved

Put the lemon slices into the jars , pushing down if need be

Pour over the still warm stock syrup

Seal the jars and when cool store in the fridge

Use in teas , hot lemon drinks , waters , g&t's etc
