Slow cooked Chicken Teriyaki

An easy midweek meal thats full of flavour. The Teriyaki sauce is tangy yet sweet making this a firm family favourite

 3x chicken breasts
 1/2x cup of sugar
 1/2x cup low sodium Soy Sauce
 4x tbsp cider vinegar
 1x thumbsized piece of chopped ginger
 2x chopped garlic cloves
 2x tsp Cornflour
 2x tbsp water
 2x tbsp Sesame seeds (optional)

Place chicken breasts in slow cooker.
You can slice them into strips or leave whole if you prefer

add soy sauce, cider vinegar, ginger,garlic and sugar.

Cook on low for 5-6hrs or high for 3-4hrs

30 mns before the end of cooking mix the water and cornflour until you have a smooth paste and add to slow cooker liquor .

Stir till sauce has thickened.

Sprinkle over the Sesame seeds if using and serve immediately

Serve with rice or noodles
