Chicken Chow Mein

A warming healthy and super easy soup!


1 chicken breast

1tsp Chinese 5 spice

Drizzle sesame oil

1tsp chilli sauce

2 lumps egg noodles

2 handfuls beansprouts

4 spring onions

1 pack baby corn

1 pack mange tout

1TBSP soy sauce

Black pepper


1Slice and marinade your chicken in the 5 spice, sesame oil and chilli sauce

2In a pan of boiling water soften your noodles for 3 minutes. Drain and drizzle in a little oil and toss well

3In a hot wok fry your chicken for 5 minutes

4Add your veg and fry for 3 minutes

5Add the noodles and soy sauce and fry for 2-3 minutes tossing about well

6Add Beansprouts and fry for 1 minute
