00Easy Jam MuffinsI fancied something sweet for my afternoon cuppa so today I've made Jam Muffins as I have a ridiculous amount of jam but not much else in the way of filling. This is a super quick easy recipe that can be whipped up in no time. Its great if like me, your wanting an afternoon treat as they are lovely on their own or with custard, but they are also good to pop into a packed lunch box or a picnic box. I don't add icing but you could if you prefer. I've used Jam but you could swap it for chocolate spread or chips, lemon curd etc. Why not give these a try and let us know how you get on in the comments below. We love to hear your feedback. E x

00Slow Cooker Chocolate Mars Bar cakeA bit of nostalgia with this recipe, as my Mum used to make this for us kids way back when we were just a little younger. Its so easy and yet so yummy and I'm sure this will soon become a family favourite for you and your children too, as it is in our house. There's chocolate, mallow, caramel and then a little more chocolate, so a little goes a long way. This would be a good recipe for the children to help with as it's a no bake- they would just have to be careful with the hot SC. Its great for lunch boxes, picnics or on its own with a cuppa, and even makes a great gift for Christmas. The white chocolate piping is totally optional - my piping bag burst so it went a bit awry but I styled it out and said it was to make it rustic looking lol -think I got away with that as it adds to the charm of being homemade. You can totally swap the branded ingredients for supermarket own brands and slash the costs. The step by step picture guide let's you follow the recipe easily and allows you to tailor it to suit you and your families tastes. Why not give this a try and let us know how you got on in the comments below. We love to hear your thoughts x

00Slow Cooker Lemon Meringue FudgeChocolate,Lemons, Meringue, fudge ....what's not to like? With just 4 ingredients this is one of the simplest easy fudge recipes that you can get. The subtle lemon flavour offsets the sweetness of the white chocolate. It's a soft set fudge so is best kept in the fridge to keep it from being too sticky, but you could coat it in a little icing sugar or wrap it in a greaseproof paper casing to enable you to hold it without getting sticky fingers. The step by step pictures give you a handy guide on how to make it so its a good one for the children to try out. It also makes a great gift for them to give to their grandparents, or friends & family. Why not have a go, and let us know how you got on in the comments below. We love to hear from you
00Yoghurt & Berry Frozen BitesBitesize pieces of frozen yoghurt and fruit are sweet and fresh and great on a hot summer day. A bit of nostalgia here as my Mum did these as treat for after lunch when we were children, as well as making other homemade icelollies with diluting juice etc. it's recently became trendy with dieters and fitness experts as it's so easy and has few ingredients. No cooking involved so this makes them a great one for the kids to do. The fun part is eating them before they melt all over your fingers but you could be really smart and put a lolly stick through them and make your own icelollies. The toppings can be anything you choose and you can layer them up too. I used frozen berries and chocolate buttons but its totally upto you. Its also a great way of using up yoghurt you find in the reduced section of the supermarket. The step by step guide is easy to follow so why not give this a try and let us know how you get on.
