Yields1 Serving

 400g extra lean mince
 200g porridge oats
 1 1/2 pints beef gravy
 2 small or 1 large onion diced
 2 oxo cubes
 2TBSP brown sauce
 8 large potatoes
 3 sweet potatoes
 1TBSP butter
 2TBSP Cream

put mince in a large pan and sprinkle 2 oxo cubes over it

Add the onion and fry gently until mince is browned and not lumpy

Stir in the porridge oats and mix thoroughly

Add the gravy and brown sauce

Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 20 minutes

If it starts to dry out and' catch' add some more water

Meanwhile cook your potatoes and sweet potatoes in the same pot until soft

Drain and then mash

Stir in the butter and mix through until melted and then add the cream and mix well

Tip 1/2 the mince into a casserole dish and top with half the mash
