Dawn2017-08-05T14:58:14+00:00 Total Recipe Views: 140 Dahl By Dawn Curry, Fakeaway Indian February 25, 2016 Ingredients 1 1/2 cups dried red lentils 1 large onion chopped 3 garlic cloves minced 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated 1/2 tsp chilli flacks 1 tbsp curry powder 1/2 tsp cumin 1/2 cinnamon 1 tsp ground coriander 4-5 cups of water Directions 1Fry the onion till soft then add the garlic and spices 2Fry them off for a few mins . 3Add the lentils and fry till they are all covered 4Cover with water and simmer for 20-30 mins or until it's thick . 5Serve with nann bread as this is very much like a thick soup 6Tip this can also be added to the slow cooker.
