Leftovers.If like me, you always have a portion of dinner left thats not enough for a meal but you dont want it going to waste then pasties are the answer.
I had meatballs leftover from last night's dinner (complete with homemade pasta sauce....passata,garlic,mixed herbs,chilli flakes )- recipe on the website.
I added a few other ingredients. . ...mozzarella, bbq sauce and some pastry and made another dinner.
These are also great to have as a snack for the kids coming in from school or for watching the footy. They can be frozen and reheated in minutes.
I've used the Air fryer but they can also be done in the oven.

Prep:- Take the pastry out of the fridge 30mns beforehand.
Unroll and cut into 6-8 rectangles
Slice the meatballs into 2-3 slices and lay diagonally corner to corner onto the pastry.
Top with a tbsp of pasta sauce and a drizzle of bbq sauce.
Slice the Mozzarella and add on top of the sauce. Season with S&P
Fold over the opposite corners of the pastry, cross them over each other in the middle and stick them together with a dab of milk or egg wash.
Place in the Airfryer at 180° for 10mns.
Serve hot

To bake in the oven - 200° for 15mns
