Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl
Stir in the milk to form a firm dough ( you may need a little extra )
Turn dough onto a floured surface and shape into a fat sausage
Place it onto a large piece of greaseproof that has a pleat in it to allow for expansion
Roll it up to cover it and tie the ends with string like a Christmas cracker
Put over a steamer and steam for 2-2.5 hours
Be careful when unwrapping and serve with real custard
Can be cooked in a pressure cooker for about 35 minutes or baked in an oven for about 2.5 hrs at 180C
