Creamy Bacon and Sweet Pepper Pasta
Ingredients
300 g Spaghetti
1 Medium onion diced
Half jar sweet peppers chopped
120 ml Double cream
60 g Grated parmesan
3 tbsp Chopped parsley
Salt
Pepper
8 Rashers streaky bacon
Directions
Dry fry the bacon until almost crispy
Remove from the pan and drain
Add the onions to the pan and cook until softened , after 5 minutes add the chopped garlic
Add the peppers and season
Meanwhile cook the pasta as per instructions
Add the cream , Parmesan to the pan and cook until it starts to thicken
Drain the pasta , save a cup of the cooking water
Add the pasta , parsley and bacon to the pan
Mix really well . Loosen the sauce with the pasta water
Serve sprinkled with more pasta
