Heat oven to 150c.
Grease and line a 20cm square tin.
Melt the butter, sugar and syrup gently on the hob.
When you can no longer feel or hear the sugar when you stir, remove from the hob.
Stir through the oats and fruit.
Make sure it's well mixed it will stiffen.
Pour into the prepared tin.
Flatten the top.
Cook for about 40-45 minutes.
Cool it in the tin for 20 minutes.
Turn out and cut into squares.
