A speedy midweek dinner thats full of the rich flavour of paprika, with a hint of sweetness and a touch of spice. Think pork chops are dry? There's nothing dry about these pork chops. Marinated and Air fried, these are succulent and melt in the mouth. I've air fried them, but you can do them in the frying pan or oven too. I've sliced them, as It allows you to stretch 3 chops to feed 4 without feeling cheated, but by all means use 4 if your budget can stretch. I've used my own marinade but you use a pre made one if you prefer. Prep:- Take the pork out of the fridge 30mns beforehand.
Make the Marinade by adding the Oil, paprika, 5 spice, garlic, chilli flakes,salt,sugar and 5 tbsp of sweet chilli sauce to a dish and mixing well.
Place the pork in the marinade making sure they are coated on both sides.
Wrap the dish in cling film and leave to marinade for 2 hrs or longer if necessary.
Once marinated take out of the fridge and leave for 30mns to allow to come to room temperature.
Place in the Air fryer.
Switch it on to Air fry and cook at 180° for 12 mns - turning over after 6 and baste with any remaining marinade.
( you may need to do them in batches or use the wire racks to layer them and cook together. )
Whilst they're cooking, boil some potatoes, and prepare any veg your serving.
Once the pork is cooked, (check the internal temp is 145-160°F) remove and place on a chopping board.
Cover with foil and allow to rest for 5mns then slice into thin strips (optional)
Drain the potatoes, add butter and a dash of milk and mash.
To Serve- add the mash to a plate along with the sliced pork and a side of vegetables.
Drizzle over the remaining tbsp of sweet chilli sauce.

Boneless pork for bone in pork.
Pork for chicken
Chinese 5 spice for allspice
Paprika for Chilli pepper
On the hob- add to a hot pan, sear then lower the heat to medium, fry for 6 mns each side, baste again with the marinade if needed.
