A good way to use up a forgotten fruit
Peel and mash the banana's in a large mixing bowl
Sieve the flour as you add it to the bowl
Add the condensed milk, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix it all in-im not gonna lie it's hard on the wrists
Pour it into a lined loaf tin- then find the tin doesn't fit into the slow cooker so transfer it to something that does,
I used a pudding bowl. Scatter over some oats
Pour 2 cups of water into the slow cooker. Turn it on high and place the bowl inside. Put a tea towel over then place the lid on top.
Cook for 3hrs on high. Test with a skewer and if it comes out wet, cook for another 30 mns-1hr or until skewer comes out dry. Mines took 4hrs 30mns because of the bowl
Take out of the s.cooker, tip over and remove from the bowl, leave to cool then peel the baking paper off and slice
Serve warm with butter, honey, maple syrup, ice cream or custard
