An economical midweek dinner
Heat the oil in a pan,add the onions and fry gently for 2-3mns
Add the sausages and fry till they start to colour 5-8mns
Wash and quarter the potatoes,add to the pan along with the stock and herbs and simmer for 15mns
In a bowl mix the cornflour with a little water to form a thin paste,add to the stock and stir through
Core and slice the apples then add to the pan,stir through
Simmer for 15mns or until the sauce reduces and thickens
Add a few pinches of fresh herbs
Serve warm on it's own or with crusty bread
Swap the turkey sausages for any sausages you have.
This would work well with pork chops too
