Cajun Blackened Chicken

1 chicken breast per person or 2 small breasts cut in half if big

1 tspn smoked paprika

1/2 tspn salt

1/2 tspn cayenne pepper

1/2 tspn ground cumin

1/2 tspn dried thyme

1/4 tspn white pepper

1/4 tspn garlic powder

1 tblspn vegetable oil


1Mix all the dry ingredients

2You can cut the chicken breasts into strips or leave whole

3Sprinkle the rub into the chicken

4Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chicken until it's no longer pink

5Serve with rice and salad or if leaving whole try it as a spicy chicken burger
