Chilli dump bag

200g mince

100g lentils

2 onions chopped

1 red pepper (or handful of frozen peppers)

3 cloves of chopped garlic

1 can of kidney beans (use pinto, black or black eyed if you have them)

1 tin of chopped tomatoes

1 tsp hot chilli powder (use mild if wanted)

2 tsp oregano

2 tsp cumin

2 sq dark chocolate ( or 1 tsp cocoa powder)


1add everything apart from the chocolate to a large freezer bag. Yes raw.


3defrost night before then add to a slow cooker.

4the lentils will soak up liquid so add 1/2pint of veg stock

5 cook on a high 4-6 hrs low 6-8.

6Add chocolate 1 hr before serving

7You can add sweet potato as well to make it go further.
