Penny2017-08-23T21:06:08+00:00 Total Recipe Views: 3,959 Fruity Oat Cereal Bars By Penny Home Baking English August 23, 2017 Add the dried fruit of your choice Prep: 10 mins Cook: 20 mins Yields: 12 servings Ingredients 250g Rolled oats 50g Rice crispies 100g Plain flour 70g Dried cranberries , chopped (keep 20g for the topping) 1 tspn Bicarbonate of soda 250g Runny honey 100g Coconut oil or butter 2 tspn Vanilla extract Directions 1Heat the oven to 170’C and line a baking traywith baking paper. 2Put all the dry ingredients (minus 20g of fruit) into a large bowl and mix together well. 3In a separate bowl add the honey, coconut oil or butter and vanilla 4Microwave for 30 seconds or until the coconut oil or butter has melted then stir the ingredients together and pour over the dry ingredients. 5Mix all the dry ingredients so they are well coated with the honey 6Tipinto the prepared tin and press the mix down firmly with the back of a spoon so it’s even. 7Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until just golden brown on top then remove from oven and using another tin, press down again to flatten the mix Leave to cool in the tin then cut into bars. 8For extra indulgence pour over some melted chocolate before cutting close full screen 00:00 6 Reviews Feed your family for about £20 a week.
