Who doesn’t love these ?

  • Yields: 35 chocolates

Ingredients

200gHazelnuts

35 whole Hazelnuts

1 cup Nutella or Hazelnut Spread

120g chocolate/hazelnut Wafers finely chopped

400 grams Chocolate

Directions

1Toast the hazelnuts in a dry pan until just releasing their oils

2Reserve 35 of them

3Chop the rest in a food processor

4In a small bowl, mix the Nutella and chopped hazelnuts until well combined.

5Freeze until the mixture is stiff enough to be moulded and rolled into balls. Working quickly while the mixture is stiff, mold one teaspoon of Nutella mixture around each hazelnut

6Now roll in the chopped wafers. Freeze again until the balls are firm. Melt the milk chocolate ina bowl over a pan of simmering water

7Dip each ball into the melted draining off excess chocolate.

8Sprinkle over more wafers

9Let sit until set then put into petite four cases

Wear gloves as this is a messy make
