Peanut Butter Cups

Great in a homemade hamper

Ingredients

50gsoft dark brown sugar

200g icing sugar

50g softened butter

200g smooth peanut butter

TOPPING 1

50g crunchy peanut butter

TOPPING 2

200g milk chocolate

100g dark chocolate

48 peanuts or hazelnuts

A few chopped nuts

Directions

1Put all the ingredients for the base into a food processor and pulse until in looks like sand

2Lay out 48 petite four cases on baking tray(s)

3Add 1tspn of the base mix to each case case

4 Press the mix to form a base

5Top with a 0.5 tspn crunchy peanut butter

6Put the milk chocolate and dark chocolate together into a heatproof Melt the chocolate gently over a pan of simmering water. Stir

7Spoon teaspoonfuls of the melted chocolate onto the top of each of the bases

8Add a nut to each case and sprinkle over some choppped nuts

9Leave to set
