Pineapple, Custard and Coconut Tart

Gosh this ones so easy


You will need one ready baked sweet tart tin

A tin of pineapple in syrup in juice it's up to you

Custard , a tin , a packet , made totally or made with a custard mix , it's your choice

Desiccated coconut


1Mash down your pineapple by hand or with a blender , leave a few chunks , drain well and put on base of tart

2pour over the COLD custard

3Toast the coconut under a grill

4When it's cooled sprinkle on top of the custard

5Put in fridge to chill for at least an hour before serving

6This is a real throw back recipe from the days when tins of crushed pineapple were readily available
