Roasted Beetroot

A lovely veg to have with a roast

  • Cook: 1 hr

Ingredients

Raw or vacuum packed pre cooked Beetroot 1-2 each halved or quartered depending on size

Sprigs of thyme

Salt and pepper

Olive or rapeseed oil

Balsamic vinegar

Runny honey

Directions

1Heat oven to 200c

2Sit each beetroot on a square of foil

3Drizzle with a little oil

4A splash of balsamic

5Season with salt and pepper

6Drizzle with honey

7Add a sprig or 2 of thyme

8Seal the foil

9Sit on a baking tray

10Cook the raw beers for about 60 minutes

11Heat the ready cooked vac packed beets for 15-20 minutes

12Serve warm drizzled with a little more honey

13Or serve with salads

Good I take a look I got lots of beetroot In my Garden
