A lovely veg to have with a roast

 Raw or vacuum packed pre cooked Beetroot 1-2 each halved or quartered depending on size
 Sprigs of thyme
 Salt and pepper
 Olive or rapeseed oil
 Balsamic vinegar
 Runny honey

Heat oven to 200c

Sit each beetroot on a square of foil

Drizzle with a little oil

4

A splash of balsamic

Season with salt and pepper

Drizzle with honey

Add a sprig or 2 of thyme

Seal the foil

Sit on a baking tray

Cook the raw beers for about 60 minutes

Heat the ready cooked vac packed beets for 15-20 minutes

Serve warm drizzled with a little more honey

Or serve with salads
