Sausage kebabs

can be BBQ'd or grilled

4 sausages

2 red onions cut into chunks

2 peppers cubed

2 cooked chorizo sausages, cut into 4 pieces or 8 rashers rolled up streaky bacon

1tbspn olive oil

1tbspn balsamic vinegar

2tspn runny honey

8 rosemary sprigs - to use as skewers ( optional )

Serve with savoury rice ( recipe on website )


1Heat grill to med/high

2 Cut each sausage into four.

3Thread the sausages onto skewers with the onions, pepper and chorizo or bacon

4Place onto a grill pan and cook under a grill for 10-15 minutes , turning frequently.

5Mix together the oil, vinegar and honey to make a glaze and brush over the kebabs.

6Put under the grill for another 2-3mins until golden and charred in places.

7 Serve with the savoury rice.
