Savoury Rice

Use the vegetables you like


300g long grain rice

600ml vegetable stock

Handful of cooked chopped peppers

Handful of cooked chopped carrots , a few cooked peas

1/2 tspn tumeric

Salt and pepper

A little chopped parsley


1Put the rice into a saucepan

2Add the vegetable stock and tumeric

3Put on the lid and cook for about 15 minutes

4Add in the vegetables and seasoning

5Continue to cook until all the stock is evaporated

6Chop the parsley and stir through the rice
