Put the tahini ( or peanut butter ) in a processor with the lemon juice and pulse for 1 minute add the garlic and blend for another minute
If you like pinch the chickpeas to remove the shells ( I don't ) . Add them to the processor and mix until they're combined
Drizzle in the olive oil slowly whilst the processor is on and mix until the hummus is of the consistency you like
If it's too thick add in some of the water and blend until silky
Put in a bowl and top with paprika or lemon zest
