450g fettucinne
50g butter
230ml double cream ( you can use creme fraiche )
85g grated Italian cheese ( pecorino, Parmesan , Romano etc )
Pinch garlic salt
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook the fettuccine in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes

Melt the butter into the cream on a large saucepan

Add the seasonings

Stir in the cheese(s) over a medium heat until the sauce thickens

Drain pasta

Add to the sauce and toss

Serve immediately with a little extra grated cheese
