A filling meatloaf where if you have any leftovers is just as good second time around
Heat oven to 180C
Put all the ingredients into a large bowl
Now get your hands in and mix really well
Put into a 2lb loaf tin and pat the top down flat
Put a piece of oiled grease proof paper over the top of the mix
Put the loaf in a large baking tin
Fill it with boiled water to come half way up the sides of the loaf tin ( you are making a Bain Marie )
Put in the oven and cook for about 1.5 hours. Remove the grease proof for last 15 mins of cooking
I serve in slices with mashed potatoes, peas and thick gravy
Any leftovers can be sliced and fried the following day to warm through and served in a roll
