Sieve the flour,sugar,bicarbonate into a bowl
Add the egg and half the milk and whisk. Continue whisking as you add a little milk each time till you get a smooth batter.
Grate the apple-pat dry with a paper towel and add into the batter along with the peanut butter and mix well
Put your pan onto a medium heat,add the oil and wipe off with a paper towel
Using a small ladle or soup spoon add your batter to the pan and cook for 2-3mns leaving space between each one as they will spread out a bit
When you see bubbles appear on the surface its time to turn over using a flat turner or spatula
Let them cook for 1-2mns before serving
Serve warm with toasted pecans and maple syrup
