Perfect for breakfast, lunch or just with a cup of tea or coffee
Sieve all your dry ingredients into a bowl- flour, sugar, bicarb.
Add the egg and half the milk and whisk, continue whisking as you add a little milk each time till you get a smooth batter like thick double cream
Grate the apple, pat dry with a paper towel and add to the bowl, mix well
Put your pan on a medium heat add the oil and wipe over with a paper towel to remove the excess
Using a small ladle or soup spoon add your batter to the pan and cook for 2-3mns(if your frying more than one leave a little space between as they will spread out a bit)
When you see bubbles appear on the surface it's time to turn them over using a flat turner or spatula.
Let them cook for a further 1-2mns
Serve warm.
These are lovely on their own or with your favourite toppings
This will make 12 Pancakes
