Char Sui Pork with veg and noodles

Fed us of your usual pork chops ? Try this

Yields4 Servings

 4 Pork loin chops
 120 ml Soy sauce
 4 tbsp Ketchup
 4 tbsp Honey
 60 ml Rice wine
 2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
 1 tsp Chinese Five Spice
 Few drops red food colouring
 4 Noodle nests
 Fresh or frozen stir fry veg
 75 g Brown sugar
 A little oil

Put all the ingredients except pork ,noodles and veg in a pan

Heat on med- low for 2-3 minutes

Allow to cool slightly and pour over the chops .
Leave for at least a couple of hours

Remove the chops from the marinate and slice

Put a pan of salted water on to boil

Heat a little oil on a wok .
Add the sliced meat and stir fry for a few minutes

Put the noodles in the boiling water and cook as per packet instructions

Add the veg to the pork and stir fry
Add a little more marinade .
Toss until cooked but still with some bite

Drain the noodles . Put on a plate and tip with the pork and vegetables

If there is too much sauce add a little cornflour/water paste to thicken
