Chicken Meatball bolognese-ish

A great dish using an alternative to beef

 12 Chicken meatballs- 400g
 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
 1 tin of sliced carrots
 2 Onions chopped
 2 Garlic cloves chopped
 2 handfuls of frozen peas
 1 handful of shredded spinach
 1 handful of oats or lentils
 1 tsp Italian or mixed herbs
 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
 1 tbsp Oil
 200 ml Beef stock
 1 tsp Sugar
 300 g Spaghetti
 1 pot of boiling salted water
 1 pinch S&P

Place the meatballs on a tray,drizzle 1/2 the oil over and bake for 20mns at 200°

Fry the onions in the remaining oil for 5 mns till soft,add the garlic and stir through

Add the tomatoes and stir

Add the carrots, stock,sugar,oats/ or lentils,simmer for 20mns

Add the Worcestershire sauce,sugar,peas and spinach and continue cooking for another 10mns

Add the cooked meatballs to the pan and stir through,simmer till the spaghetti is cooked

Meanwhile boil the spaghetti for 8-10 mns

Drain the spaghetti-add a little of the pasta water to the bolognese sauce-stir some pepper through and serve

Pour the bolognese on top, season if needed and serve with crusty bread
