French toast

A sweet and savoury dish

 8 Slices of bread
 3 Eggs
 6 tbsp Milk
 2 tbsp Icing sugar
 250 g Strawberries
 2 tbsp Honey
 25 g Butter

Heat the butter gently on a low heat in a frying pan

Mix the milk and eggs together

Dip the bread in the egg mixture and turn to coat both sides

Place in frying pan and gently fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, turning over and repeating

Take out of pan and place on kitchen roll to absorb any excess ,keeping it warm until all toast is cooked.

To serve- Place toast on plate,sprinkle over icing sugar ,slice strawberries and arrange, finish off with a drizzle of honey

This is a great way of using any type of bread, any fruit and substituting honey for golden/ maple syrup. You are only limited by your imagination.
