Halogen oven baked Rice Pudding

A lovely warming pudding

 100 g Pudding Rice
 700 ml Milk
 50 g Sugar
 1 pinch Nutmeg (optional)
 4 drops Vanilla extract

Use a lidded casserole dish.

Add all the ingredients to the bowl making sure it's only 3/4 full and stir.

Put lid on top and place in the Halogen oven

Bake at 150° for 1hr 30mns, remove lid and stir

Bake for a further 30mns.

If you want a skin on top remove the lid 15mns before the end of cooking

Serve hot.
Garnish with chocolate shavings.

Swap 1/2 the milk for cream or condensed milk for a touch of luxury

Swap the chocolate for raisins or jam

Make sure you use a deep enough dish as mine spilt and no one likes to clean up that mess lol
