Mongolian Beef Mince

A rich and satisfying dish for a cold winters night

 250g x beef mince
 1/2 x onion chopped
 2 x tbsp cornflour
 1/2 x tsp ginger
 3 x garlic cloves
 1/2 x tsp chilli flakes
 75ml x low sodium or light soy sauce
 1 x tbsp of brown sugar
 2 x spring onions
 120ml x water

Dry fry/Brown the mince then place in a bowl and set aside.

Sprinkle over the cornflour and mix well till mince is all coated.

Add the ginger,garlic,soy sauce,Brown sugar,chilli flakes,water to the pan.

Bring to the boil and allow to thicken slightly before pouring into a jug.

Place mince back in the pan and add the onion.

fry for 2 mns then add the sauce and simmer for 20mns

Stir in the spring onion leaving a little for a garnish.

Serve with steamed Cauliflower rice and a garnish of spring onion on top.
