Nanas soup / Scotch broth

A tasty and filling soup for cold winters days!

 ham hough or ham ribs
 4 carrots
 2 onions
 1 leek
 2 potatoes
 200 g broth mix
 150 g butter beans
 3 l water

Soak your broth mix and butter beans overnight

Boil your ham hough or ribs for an hour

Remove the ham from the water and add the drained broth mix and butter beans and simmer for an hour

Grate your carrot and onion

slice your leek

cut your potatoes into chunks

strip the meat from your ham hough or ribs

add your veg and ham to the soup pan and cook for another hour
