Pizza Dough

Yields1 Serving
 250g strong white bread or pizza flour
 5g quick acting yeast
 5g salt
 1fl oz olive oil plus extra to drizzle
 6fl oz tepid water
 Extra flour or semolina for rolling

Put the flour in a large bowl

Add the salt to one side of the bowl

Add the yeast to the other

Add the Oil

Gradually add in the water

Mix all the ingredients to form a dough

Turn out onto an oiled board

Knead for 5-10 minutes

The dough will be very sticky but work through it

When the dough is smooth and elastic put it into an oiled bowl and cover with a damp teatowel

Leave for at least an hour to prove

Heat oven to 200C not fan and put in a pizza stone or baking tray to heat

Divide the dough into 2 or 3

Shape into balls

On a flouredor semolina covered surface roll to desired size

Top with pizza sauce and your favourite toppings. Drizzle with a little olive oil

Put onto hot tray or stone and cook for about 15 minutes
