An old fashioned pudding that needs to find its way back to our tables
Grease an ovenproof dish
Put the milk in a saucepan and heat until lukewarm
Sprinkle on the semolina , stirring all the time on a gentle heat until it boils and thickens
Add in the sugar and butter , stir it through
Heat oven to 160C
Pour the semolina into the greased dish
Grate over the nutmeg ( if using )
Cook for 30 minutes
Serve with grated chocolate over it or a dollop of jam
