Chicken Pesto Pasta

Make with any pasta shapes you like

  • Yields: 4 servings


350g pasta

225g frozen peas

Leftover cooked chicken chopped or 2 cooked chicken fillets, chopped

200g creme fraiche

4 tablespoons pesto sauce

fresh basil leaves

A few Parmesan shavings

Black pepper


1Cook the pasta in a large pan of salted boiling water according the packet instructions.

2Add frozen peas for the last 3 tminutes of cooking time.

3Drain well and return to the pan along with a little of the pasta water

4Stir in the cooked chicken, creme fraiche and pesto

5 Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until piping hot

6Serve topped with Parmesan shavings and black pepper

7Finish with basil leaves

Well you can taste the pesto . If you make your own pesto ( recipe just posted ) you control all the taste . P
